The Tackley Newsletter is a free, not-for-profit publication circulated to over 400 houses every two months (at the beginning of February, April, June, August, October, and December). It is funded by advertising and donations, and is produced and distributed by volunteers.

Regular features include meeting dates of village groups (like the Footpath Group and Horticultural Society), times and dates of Church services, the schedule for opening the church, Methodist Church news, a letter from the Rector, plus the sections Area news in brief and Area events in brief which are compiled from local press releases and other sources. Articles and letters about almost anything of local interest are welcome, and there is no charge for publicising not-for-profit events.

The deadline for submitting items is the twentieth day of the month prior to publication. For example, the deadline for the June/July issue is 20 May.
